Update Thursday 17th December 2020 - The Welsh Government has announced new tougher restrictions coming into effect on Monday 28th December. From 28th December 2020 The Spilman Hotel will remain open ONLY for essential and key works. We will keep you all updated as we go into the New Year. Thank you so much for your continued support during this difficult times, We wish everyone a Lovely and Safe Christmas :)


Update Wednesday 2nd December 2020 - The Welsh Government has announced new rules for Wales coming into effect at 6pm on Friday 4th December. The Spilman Hotel will continue to operate as normal following all Covid precautions as we have been since we re opened in August 2020. The sale of Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed at the Hotel Bar during the restrictions period (from 4th December until 17th December), however the residents can still order room service drinks (Alcohol included) until 10pm. Update Tuesday 24th November 2020 - The Spilman Hotel continues to operate as normal, closely following Welsh Government advice. We continue to follow all COVID rules maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, social distancing, staff wearing PPE, and contact free wherever possible. We thank you for your continued support. Update Monday 16th November 2020- There are currently no restrictions in Carmarthen and the Spilman Hotel is operating as normal. Please Be Safe Everyone 


Update Monday 9th November 2020 - The "Fire Break (lockdown) has come to an end in Wales. We would like to inform that the Spilman Hotel is trading as normal from today. We continue to follow closely all Welsh Government guidelines. Be Safe Everyone 


Update Monday 19th October 2020 - Welsh government has announced that a National lockdown will come into effect on Friday 23rd October at 6pm for a period of two weeks.
The Spilman Hotel will remain open ONLY for essential and key workers during the short "circuit break". Feel free to contact us should you have any queries.

Update Sunday 13th September 2020 -  In line with government guidelines we would kindly ask all guests to ensure a face mask is worn in all public indoor areas of the hotel from Monday 14th September 2020.

We are delighted to be welcoming guests back from the 1st of August 2020. The well being of our guests and staff are of paramount importance and we have implemented some new procedures to ensure a safe visit to the hotel

 

We’re Good To Go
We are pleased to announce we have received the brand-new industry standard set out by National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland called 'We're Good to Go'. This accreditation demonstrates that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and advice for re-opening, we have Risk Assessments in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

 

Here’s what we’re doing to keep you and our teams safe:

 

Checking-in and social distancing

Minimising contact and increasing protection at reception with Perspex screens, keeping social distancing measures in place and dispense hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the Hotel. Guests will be asked to USE CARD PAYMENTS wherever possible - PDQ machines will be wiped down with a disinfectant wipe after each guest use.

 

Hygiene & Safety & Housekeeping

More frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, such as check-in area, door handles and handrails with disinfectant.
In the bedroom we will maintain our high standard of cleanliness as we always have, especially with the 5 Key Critical Touch Point Cleaning touchpoints including TV remotes, handles, switches and high contact furniture.    
BEDROOM ENTRY RESTRICTED. No access will be made to the bedroom during a guest stay. Fresh Towels can be provided daily along with top up of tea, coffee, toiletries on request only.  

Protective equipment for our team

To protect our team members we’ve provided them with PPE equipment including gloves, Face Shield and hand sanitiser. All Staff members have completed certification of Covid-19 Awareness Training, and been trained to implement Covid-19 safety measures and protocols.
